I went to AAMCO for the 2nd time in a little over 14 mos, for 2 different problems. Both time I was treated with respect and being a women they did NOT talk down to me. Both times Rex and Don explained exactly what was going on. My 2nd trip to AAMCO Don had to drive my car to understand the problem. After he got back to shop he look at what he thought might and was the problem. He then asked me to come to the shop area, where my car was up in the air. He told AND showed me what the problem was.,I asked if I could drive it home and bring it back when the got the part. He told me he "would not feel comfortable letting me drive it home.( 40 miles one way) Well needless to say I left my car and called a friend to get me. Rex started looking up the part how much it would cost and let me know how long the job would take. He will call me when they get the part and when I can pick it up. I am lucky because we have 2 vehicles, but I like driving my little SUV rather than my husband's BIG Ford 150 with 8 ft bed and extended cab.. THANK YOU REX AND DON FOR HELPING ME
Don Gardner, where should I even start? There are not enough words to convey my appreciation for your exceptional problem-solving abilities in resolving what initially seemed like an insurmountable predicament. Rex, you have also demonstrated yourself to be a truly professional individual. I brought my 2008 Saturn Vue in assuming it had a significant issue, fully prepared to incur substantial expenses for its repair. After Don’s brief vehicle inspection and his tinkering around, Don suggested, "Why don't we go for a test drive? Your problem has been resolved.” I didn’t believe him as this was too good to be true. Indeed, he was correct! The vehicle performed with the same level of efficiency as it did when I first acquired it. I believe he mentioned it was an electrical issue related to the transmission's current flow. Don shook my hand and bid me farewell with a wish for a "great day". Such authentic sincerity in his actions truly exemplifies their integrity and deserves their continued patronage. Please entrust this establishment with all your automotive maintenance needs.
